Maybe have a list of the challenges you guys have done already? Not sure how long you've done them, but that would prevent people (new people like me!) from suggesting something you've already done.

I have a brilliant idea. How about a challenge where you have to post a pattern? This could be a mini-challenge (I'm looking at you December, busiest month of the year). You could limit entries OR put a stipulation that you must stitch your previous pattern before posting another (otherwise myself and some others might post 20 or more patterns). Of course you would still need a theme such as...
Drum roll please...
Spoiler
Video game inspired blackwork patterns
And of course this is part of my evil plan to get everyone to make amazing patterns for me to stitch

OK have updated first post with the past challenge themes. As you can see, we've covered a range of themes but there's no reason we couldn't do some again if there was interest in it!

One that you could hang on to until next year... 'Movember'! Iconic characters and such... but with a moustache...

I'm loving the idea of 'Manuary' RMDC! I don't think I could wait until next November to stick moustaches on things!
