Sprite Stitch Board!

I got my goodies today! Thanks rbaron!!!

She sent a SpriteStitch Swap logo (which Is my cool new bookmark) "Rock, Paper, Scissors, Lizard Spock" and Avengers symbols. (both of which my son tried to claim. I'm going frame them for the family/tv/game room re-do I have planned for this Winter). She also sent along postcards of a few tropical spots I'll dream of during the cold, dark, slushy Pennsylvania Fall and Winter.

I got my swap gift! And I am so happy it is just all kinds if awesome!

I got three superwholock bookmarks. Two awesome stickers, a lovely note, and an adorable book! On a personal note, I have been dealing with severe depression the past year and a half and the book had me in tears. The backstory is that my swappie was given the book long ago from a friend and told to pass it on, and my swappie sent it to me. It is honestly one of the most heartfelt and caring things I have ever experienced in my life. I almost started crying in the car and my husband was so confused! Thank you from the bottom of my heart MeiTow.

Awww! Your story made me cry! I am so glad you like them. I was a little scared, being my first swap, that something wasn't right or you wouldn't be happy with them. There should be more than two stickers though and I wasn't sure if you were a Firefly fan so I took a chance on that so I'm glad you like that show too!

Firefly is the Best...I mean seriously is there anyone who doesn't like firefly?

I havn't come accross any!

I am close to finishing my swap gifts, they ended up being really tiny (so I hope my swap partner isn't dissapointed). Nothing says mini-swap like 30 count stitching!

I didn't get past the first episode of Firefly... someone tell me it picks up at some point and I'll revisit it because I really want to like it, that first episode just dragged...
My swap gift has been fraught with problems, so many so that I'm considering chucking it in and starting something new. Quick hypothetical, if you were my swap partner would you mind receiving something that was clearly intended to be one colour, not two? I might be being silly but it's annoying me!

Whilst the movie comes chronologically at the end, you should consider watching it first. You'll be hooked by the end of it

I've been there before...
I personally love the simplicity of a stitch in one colour.

My boyfirend, sadly. Anytime he watches something bad, he'll say "At least it wasn't as bad as that stupid Serenity film". He's the only person I know that dislikes it though!

I will have to respectfully disagree, while I love the series, I am not a huge fan of the movie. I has a very different pace and atmosphere than the series and gives some spoilers about what happens to some of the characters. The first episode and the pilot are a bit draggy, due to having to introduce so many characters, but I would try a few more eps before giving up on it.

I am sure they exist, just havn't come accross them myself.

I received possibly the coolest letter I have ever received today. Carand88 stitched me the coolest mike Tyson I have ever seen form Mike Tyson's Punch Out. It's the tiniest stitch I have ever seen. I can't tell that count it is. I love it! it's PERFECT!
