I am pretty sure she won't kill you lol. One of my Swapee gifts is bit over 7 inches and she said it was ok, so I am pretty sure she isn't gonna be mad at you for a half inch over.

are we suppose to make more than one gift for our swappie? I feel bad because I only was working on one thing and I see every one is making 3 or 4 gifts. >.<

More than one thing is definitely not required; I completed all of mine over one weekend so I didn't feel like it was too much work to do more than one thing. If any one of them had taken me more time, I probably would have done fewer items. I didn't mean to be first and set a precedent of 3 things; I just figured I should send it since I was done

I'm doing three things because they are all small. There is no rule that says you have to do more than one.

I'm just doing one. Though it is about the max size for the swap, so... heh. Fiiiiinally finished the pattern tonight! It's nothing "amazing", but definitely tailored specifically to my swapee. I kind of love it and I hope she will too! Now to get stitching...

Ive nearly finished my swap! Ive ran out of one colour though...so looks like i have to wonder the streets looking for it! >.< After Ive found it, it will be finished within hour...(Thats how little I had left to do! D'oh!)...then I can post it! I hope they like it!

I think i'm pretty much ready to send out my gift- just need to find one more thing.

Finished my project! I finished it so quick I kind of want to make something else for my swappie! I hope they like it.

I just finished the first part of my swap gift! I'm pleased with how it turned out, and eager to start on the next part!

Part 1 of my 3 is almost done as well. Been working on the inanimate objects challenge over the weekend because I was gone all weekend and wanted a bigger project to keep me occupied.
