Ok, another question. I have a few patterns that I made, but I want each of them to be smaller to fit into an 11x14 frame. How do I do that without making the pattern all over again? And I'm not sure what I'm doing when it comes to changing the thread/linen count and all of that... I believe the fabric I have is 16 aida, but when I count how many stitches are in an inch horizontally, it's 7.. am I doing something wrong? I just want to make the chart info correct so that I know how big these projects are going to be once finished.
Deviantart? Why yes, I do have one! = 3

I am definitely going to try this!!! I love you for posting it! I've spent countless hours fighting with patterns trying to smooth them out, and this may be just the trick!!!

In the sprite section, it says that you can remove the colors the the program adds that arent really there...i chose a simple 8-bit mario and when i remove the colors that arent really there, i got big white lines around the edges. Is this supposed to happen? Do i fill the white in with the correct color by hand? Any suggestions for simple 1 to 1 sprites (like snes link)?

Great post! I downloaded KG Chart and was a little lost by all the information it was asking for and showing. Thank you for such a detailed step-by-step! Also for the pictures showing each step. I'm noticed that tends to help people more if they have written instructions and pictures showing them those same steps.

Is KG-LE gone? I just got my new computer and I can't seem to find the LE download. Is it just the paid version now? I was really getting excited to make my own patterns again :(

It looks like it was taken down from the official site, but someone recently posted their old download of it:

I finally did it! I finally have a laptop that works, a place where I can connect to the internet for free and I have just downloaded KG Chart and made a sonic pattern using this tutorial! Thank you soooo much!!! I'm usually rubbish at following tutorials and get all kinds of confused, but you took me through it as though you were by my side! :D

A question though,

As I don't have internet access at home, can I still use KG Chart away from the internet, opening files and creating patterns?

Since you downloaded KG chart it should show up on your programs list on your laptop. You might have a Icon for it on the desktop screen. I downloaded it on my computer sometime ago. It should be on laptop and you should be able to use it with out being on internet. It is a program on your laptop now.
