Sprite Stitch Board!

So I saw the Pile of Pikachus cross stitch a few times and thought it would be fun to make. Well, my obsessed 6-year old saw it and asked me if I was going to make it. I told her I didn't know if I could. She brought it up a few times before I finally downloaded the software and found the image to make a pattern. I fudged some of the colours to fit what thread I have in my box - luckily I used to be an avid bracelet maker. So anyway, I thought I'd share what I've got so far.
I've got 2 more done but I don't have the images uploaded yet. I've had to put it on hold for a while so we could paint our living room.

The power of Pikachu compels you! I know eventually I will crack and stitch it myself, I just am amused at how popular this pattern is on this site. But then should I be? It is Pikachu after all. Pokemon FTW!

Thanks everyone. I'm really enjoying stitching this one, which is nice, because I never enjoyed many of the patters I'd done in the past. I don't like projects that require random speckles of 40 colours, so spriting is perfect for me!

Anyway, now that the living room is painted I've dragged everything out again and finished filling in the latest pikachu (no real photos of the progress of #2 or #3).
One of the fun bits is deciding which one to do next!

Picked one! This is the normal progression of things: pick a Pikachu, do all of the shading and detail, then fill the rest in with yellow, so that I don't need to look at the pattern.

I think I'll have to tackle the Pika Pile myself sooner rather than later! Yours is coming along swimmingly!

Heh, I know it's been a little while but I didn't think my post had been pushed to page 2!

Anyway, a quick update - one more pikachu done, and one more shaded. So much yellow...
