Sprite Stitch Board!

Hey everybody! I'm relatively new to the forums, but I check spritestitch daily, and love all the inspiration! I love both crafting and video games, but instead of making a craft inspired by a video game, for this project I made a video game inspired by crafts. So here it is--my new iOS game, Brownie: Spirit of the Woods. All of the artwork is hand-crafted by me out of real fabric--mostly embroidered. Even the font is needlework, which I think is cool, but it took a super long time!



The basic premise is that a storm is coming to the woods, and you're a bear riding on a broom, scooping up stranded critters and rescuing them before the storm catches up to you. You steer Brownie by tilting your device, and tap the screen to rescue the critters. It's just a super-simple, cutesy game



I think my favorite part is that the sound effects are made from my 16-month-old daughter's babbling noises <3

It sounds lovely and looks beautiful - I wish I had a fancy device on which to play it.

Usually, I don't buy apps unless I can try them first or read a bunch of reviews but I had to get this one because it looks so awesome. I played it on an iPad. It's fun and very cute! You did an amazing job with the stitching, too! I'm not normally one for animated emoticons, but:

Too bad it's not available on Android... seems good !! it must have taken a long time...

Sometimes I wish there wasn't such a diversion. Who really wants to have six phones, three-four consoles, and two tablets, plus a computer and a laptop? That's kinda what you need nowadays to play all the good games. Well, maybe not the laptop.

Other than that - what you have there is beautiful! I am not much of a sewer. Of either kind.

Oh gosh I love it! It's so cute and creative!

About to download it and go spend some time in the bathroom at work, ha!
