I've been planning on starting this project for the longest time and now I finally have. ^.^' I won't get to work on it as much as I would like to since I'm going to be starting on Christmas presents too, and this is going to be for myself..But, oh well.
I've worked on it for a few weeks on and off. For the first two weeks I was only working on it a line at a time until I got back in my groove. Lol
Sorry for the awful lighting. >.<'

How cute! I'm doing this too. I started at the bottom so it's interesting to see what's happening at the top

Oo! Neat. Glad I'm not doing it alone. XP It's also cool that you started from the bottom I should try that some time, I always seem to start at the top. Lol

I usually start from the top too, but I had some unpicking to do from a smaller project, so I had to start at the bottom.
I'll try post a picture tonight

Looks great so far. I'm curious what you have the cloth attached to.
I usually see the wooden or plastic circles attached to the fabric but yours looks different

Great start to a great pattern! I finished this for a cousin, and it was WELL worth all of the time and effort!

Thank you! =)
I use a "Plastic Snap Frame" I prefer it to the hoops, it's easier for me to hold. XP Here's a link to the one I have, at Michael's Craft store.

Thank you! and I'm sure it will be! =D I've seen a few people finish them and they all look amazing. I can't wait to have it finished and hanging on my wall. ^.^
I haven't gotten much further yet, unfortunately. Trying to get four other projects ready to start too. Lol Doing my best to get started on Christmas presents now so maybe I won't be struggling to finish once December hits. XP I'll post another WIP pic once I have something worth showing.

I can't say enough good things about my Q-snap, and I only use hoops for very tiny projects now. I have the 8x8 and 11x11 so I can combine between the two as needed.

I have the 17"x11" and the 17"x17"..I love the 17"x11" but the other one is so big it's awkward to hold so I don't use it. =\
