I've been cross stitching for about a month now

I made this pattern and stitched up a bookmark for a friend's birthday:

I love the 'home sweet home' pattern! So much so I actually made my own version of it since I was too cheap to buy it!

To be honest I purchased the pattern before I even started learning because I wanted to build up my skill to be able to do it. Looking back now I definitely would have done the same as you! :nod I didn't realise how easy it is to make your own patterns.

Awwee the Creeper bookmark is adorable!
I'm trying to do a small set of minecraft sprites, starting with watermelon, but at some point I'll need to do a Creeper! What colours did you use?

Thank you! :D

I used black and the greens I picked were from the threads I have available so I'm sure there's probably better greens out there that you could match to the sprite. I used DMC threads 701, 906, 703 and 966. I think the colours came out okay.

Thank you :) It took a long time to make but it was worth it. Minecraft coverts into cross stitch so perfectly.
