I haven't really learnt it, I just decided to have a go at it. I had some inspiration from a book I have, 'Adventures in Needlework', but otherwise I just decided to try it and see what happened! I found an image, traced the outline and then traced it onto the fabric and started stitching.

There's still some room for improvement. Next time I'll try and blend the colours a bit more, and try and keep the fabric in tension.
