Super Mario earrings

My first cross stitched earrings :cool: and first time I use plastic canvas too.

Ooh they're really nice! I have a ton of SP findings and never thought to use them with plastic canvas! (Shame I don't have my ears pierced anymore..!)

Those are pretty cool! Very neat work for plastic canvas with a backing. I've never managed using plastic canvas successfully. What count was the canvas, and how many strands did you use?

It's 14 ct canvas, and I used 3 strands (instead of 2 usually) :wave:

I sewed the plastic canvas on a piece of thick felt, then I cut around :grin:
It's the only idea I had to hide the back threads...

I've made a couple of sets of earrings using plastic canvas but I typically make them double sided to hide the black thread instead of using a felt backing since I can never make it look quite right... Great job!

They look really awesome, but a question - do the plastic corners/sides scratch at your neck at all?
