I found the pattern for this on here at http://www.spritestitch.com/wp-content/ ... angrid.png and thought I would share this little bookmark I made with it:

I'm so going to make a similar one for my boyfriend :D
Did you back it with felt?

Thank you
Yes, it's red felt on the back - just because I had a load lying around. To be honest I was originally going to do both sides cross stitched but I thought the felt would look good.

The felt looks lovely! :good:

I'd like to cross stitch both sides, but it all depends on how lazy I'm feeling!
Once I've got it done, I'll post pics up here :D

Excellent thank you - I know it sounds silly but it's nice to see how someone can take the same basic thing and change it with their own style. :nod

This is really adorable! Matthew is one lucky chap!
At first when I saw it, I thought it was a snap bracelet.. Remember those?!
Then I was all "OMG I'M MAKING SNAP BRACELETS"!!!
I wonder how to get those metal sheets that are inside of them.. hmmm..

Bigger question (I think), where do you find the metal sheets?

I'd buy a pre-made snap bracelet and take it apart (because a quick Google search came up with nothing) ;)

Matthew is one lucky chap bless him :nod He got a Pacman alarm clock with it and was happy as a clam.
LOVE the idea of these as snap bracelets!! And the idea to just buy them on ebay and take them apart!
