Sprite Stitch Board!

After seeing the pattern on spritestitch, I knew I *had* to make this for my son. Finished, it will be roughly 15x19 inches. At over 58,000 stitches, it's going to be a loooong road! This is the biggest thing I've ever done, and already I can't wait to be done with it so I can start on the Zelda stained glass (another biggie!) I hope to have this done by his 7th birthday in September.

About a month in: As of last night (about two months in): (Sorry for the crappy cel phone pictures, it's all I have right now) I'll update as I go!

It looks AMAZING! Did you switch the colors up?

I did. I changed the light blue, the yellow/beige, and a VERY SLIGHT change to the red, mainly because they were out of DMC 666. The red I used is almost indistinguishable from it, just a tiny bit warmer. I need to snap a new pic and update this, I've finished his head down to the mouthplate thing and filled in all the light blue and started on the red. I haven't worked on it in like a month though, been fiddling with lots of other projects and time-wasters instead.

I did not change my colors and after seeing yours, I feel like starting over!! The choice of colors is really nice

Sloooowwwwly making progress (filling in that red on the right took me a month!) Sooo far to go, it feels like I'll never be finished!

It looks amazing! I don't know how you have the patience to fill in so much area of one colour.
