I was searching around on the interwebs and found another cool website with video game inspired artwork. Jude Buffum does some very cool paintings. I found one he did called Rainbow Bloodbath and I emailed him for permission to make a pattern of it. I promised not to share or sell any copies of the pattern and he asked that I give him credit for the original art, which I am pleased to do. JudeBuffum.com is his main page; feel free to browse, join his newsletter or even purchase from him.

Apologies for the blurriness... I'm a better stitcher than I am a photographer.

Haha, I like it! :D

I'm already familiar with Jude Buffum, had dealings with him about another project. His work is pretty cool :D

I love this! However, if I were having to choose Rainbow Brite or Strawberry Shortcake to win, I don't think I could... :(

 Wow, his pixel paintings are great !!! Thanks for the link, Stitch Witch ! And in your frame, is it the painting or already your cross stitch version ? I'm sorry, it's a little blurred, I can't tell

The pic I posted is of my stitching. The painting had no mat and a purple frame. I didn't like the one purple frame choice they had at JoAnns so I went with the green.

This link makes it very hard to adhere to my New Year's Resolution of saving more money. I really love the terrarium ones in his shop.

That's great! Love it!

That Jude dude does some really great work (I followed the link to his other stuff), I see why you wanted to cross-stitch this. Also glad to know you asked his permission to do so, and that he let you.
