Okami Bookmark (and a plush)

Yes, I'm sneaking the second item in as I figured the less postings by me this month the better. Plus they're a single gift so count as one item...right? *shifty eyes*

Anyway, my best female friend is a HUGE fan of Okami so when I saw Awenmir's pattern many many moons ago, I knew it would make the perfect gift for her. I'm not sure how she did the back of hers, but I had some fiery red fabric leftover from a bag I made years back so I hand sewed it on with white thread - so as not to disturb the front design of loveliness.

And since I'd been meaning to design one anyway, I decided to also make my friend her own Awenmir amigurumi plush in addition to the bookmark for her Christmas gift.

I didn't put the shield on the back just because I felt it wasn't needed really. The friend this gift is for though watches me on deviantart so any and all thoughts you lovely people have are very much appreciated.

I think they look wonderful and your friend will love them! This makes me want to pick up crochet again, even though I'm really no good at it!

Thanks guys. My roommates aren't familiar with the game so I was hoping my fellow crafters/gamers here would weigh in on if anything needed to be added or changed before I wrap them up.

starrley I'm about....80-90% sure she doesn't come here. I don't link to it from my DA account and she doesn't craft (her husband is the cross-stitch/crafty one actually). Not to mention she never talks about the site with me, and she knows I'm a member. So yeah....I think I'm safe.
