Sprite Stitch Board!

I got started on a new stitching project, I'd been stitching small magnets for our fridge and I wanted to do something big for a change.
So I decided to stitch the title screen from the NES version of Super Mario Bros. 3!


This is after four days of working on it. I'm stitching it on 18 ct. creme colored aida.
I would've loved to have found a good picture of the title with Mario and all the items on it, but I couldn't find a clear picture anywhere.



After this I plan on stitching two other title screens: Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages/Seasons.

WOW!! That looks cool! I can't wait to see what it'll look like finished!

I'm going to love the title screens from Zelda, those two are in my top Zelda games

wow, this makes me think of how cool it would be to have a hallway lined with classic video game title screens

Mine too!
I wish there was some orange aida for me to stitch Ages on, but I couldn't find any anywhere so I thought maybe pink would be fine.

Hmm, now that you say that, I DO have a bare hallway that could use some framed items.

Did you try Googling for orange Aida cloth?

I have, and the aida available online is more pricey than at the craft stores around here.
I also searched around about dying aida cloth and might look into doing that.
If I can get the pink to look close to orange that would be wonderful.

You could always dye your fabric also...that way you can get exactly the color you want.

Love this pattern! Definitely going to keep up on the WIP's!
