I've been waiting for this moment for weeks now, WEEKS I say! Two of them, in fact. And now, at last, I can start!
My project, for the forseeable future, is my very favorite character from the World of Warcraft universe. Yogg-Saron himself. The image I got the pattern for is the one out of the dungeon companion... whatever that is. It was made by the fantastically talented Dan Scott, whose artwork can be seen at http://www.danscottart.com/.
This is the image I'll be working from.
Here's a picture of them, sat on my desk.
It's being done on 28ct Aida, and is 291x299 stitches. That's 87,009 in total, a number I didnt want to know. KG Chart estimates it'll be 26.39cm x 27.12cm. It's cost me £30~ so far, and will cost more, as I dont have enough thread, according to conservative estimates from a friend who knows a lot more about this than I do. But hey, it'll be worth it in the end.
*deep breath*
And so it begins.

WOW (not for World Of Warcraft, hihi), it's huge !!! I don't know WOW but this kind of creatures reminds me the "gamebooks" (les "livres dont vous êtes le héros" in french)...
