Chikorita and evolutions - my first project

New user here. I recently got introduced to cross-stitching by my girlfriend (known as sharayah on these boards), and the first thing I made was a little Black Mage from FF1. It's just the one little sprite, only 4 colors, so I wouldn't really consider it a project. So for my first real one, I wanted to make something for her, since she made a cute Pokemon starter heart-shaped thing for me (I'm not sure if there's a topic about that one). Mine isn't as ambitious (I wouldn't want to start with anything too huge or complex), so I just made Chikorita and its evolutions, since those are her favorites.

I had to edit this sprite to change the shading, since it's flipped horizontally from the original (I think it's from D/P/Pt).

I'm pretty happy with how it came out. My next project is for the "game items" contest, and I assume we're supposed to keep those secret until they're submitted, so I won't say what it is yet. But hopefully I'll be able to get it done in time; it should be pretty cool.

I love your Chikorita evo stitching, it's lovely and very well done for an almost-first project! Personally I would love to see your Black Mage - most people on these forums know how I feel about them!
