Sprite Stitch Board!

Hey guys!

I finally got around to making my 8-bit keys on keychains like I was talking about for literally years (remember my mini-hama ones from forever ago?!). Here's the first, the key from Super Mario Bros 2:

I cross stitched onto 14 ct plastic canvas and sewed it to a fleece backing as I have been doing a lot lately

Let me know if you guys have any ideas for other keys from video games I should make! I have a few in mind (namely the one from Super Mario World), but I'd love to hear other's ideas

This looks great! I like all the keys you made on the sprite stitch blog. They'd all look good stitched.

Love this idea Think I may have to try and make some myself

Kingdom hearts key blades and zelda dungeons come to mind

Also all the various keys from the zelda games! I love this very cute!

How did you finish the front of the stitching with white thread?

Oh, it's actually just the white plastic canvas! I just cut it so that it's a straight edge instead of having the holes show. And I backstitched the fleece onto the back of it to give it a more squared off look and to cover up the back of the cross stitching

And I'm glad you guys like it and gave me some ideas! I'll mess around with some stuff the next few days and post a new one asap
