I made these for a friend who used to live 2 doors down from me growing up. I got a NES for my 10 birthday along with Zelda. He would come over and we would take turns trying to beat the game. Alas we never did! About 5 years ago we reconnected and neither had ever finished the game. 20ish years later from my 10th birthday the moment we had been waiting for happened. I received a text at some point at 1am stating he had finished the game. That inspired me, and about a 2 weeks later I finished the game. I recently found my old box of Nintendo games and there were somehow 2 copies of Zelda. I decided to commemorate the event by framing the original cartridge with cross stitch Link, fairies, hearts and of course the triforce. All is well in Hyrule again! And now we have fond memories to hold in our hearts!

Sorry for the picture quality!
