Purple Tentacle backpack

Post by harku »

Have been lurking for a while but never bothered to post any of my work.
Figure I'd start with my first x-stitch. The purple tentacle from 'Day of the Tentacle' stitched onto a backpack

Backpack material was hard to stitch through especially since when I made this I thought you were suppose to use all 6 strands.
Overall happy with the result and learned a lot :P

Wow, the stitching looks super neat! Did you use waste canvas?

Day of the Tentacle is still in my favorite top five games of all times

Very awesome looking! The first time I did a cross stitch kit I made the same mistake. I used all 6 strands to make a Santa Claus, I couldn't figure out why it was so hard. lol
You're like a walking encyclopedia of weirdness

I think all six strands was worth the torment - those stitches are huge, but they still look tight!
