Omg that looks freaking AMAZEBALLS! And I don't use that word lightly!
Awesome job! I love the background comic thing and the frame. The whole thing is perfect.

Thank you! On the same day I finished this project, my boyfriend stole it :) and he doesn't like wolverine that much
Now I'm trying to finish the black aida project and I think the next one should be wonder woman :)

Last year, I've done the companion cube blanket for my boyfriend's birthday gift. This year I presented him a Umbrella rug. It took me about 2 weeks to do it and a bunch of travels to the wool store :) The rug has 80cm diameter and 23044 stitches. Hope you like it

I LOVE the rug! Is it crocheted? Didyou do each section individually and sew together with the black wool, or is it all done in one piece?

No. It's not crocheted. It's cross stitch... I was going to do the rug in "arraiolos" stitches because is more suitable for rugs. However, I don't know very well how to do this stitch and I decided to use cross stitch.

I've used specific materials like rugs wools with anti-moths treatments and a special rug canvas. After I finished the stitches I glued the boarders with a special glue and used felt to cover all the line ends.
