Howdy! I'm new, and working on a large project! :)

Hey guys!

I'm Cloe and am working on a huge project for my best friend for Xmas. Thought I'd get a head start and share my progress along the way!

That, and I used the Nintendo Logo pattern I found on google, which happened to bring me here. Many thanks to the creator of the pattern.

So, here's a pic of my progress:


Essentially, it's just a mish mash of things. It's a little montage of all the things she loves and things that are significant to our friendship.
I plan to frame it of course! I think my next piece for it will be a Totoro.

What a nice friend! I know it's the thought that counts, but handmade stuff always shows that you really appreciate them. (Especially at that end bit when you're sewing furiously to make the birthday deadline. Maybe that's just me >_>')

And welcome to Sprite Stitch!! I came across this blog a couple years ago while looking through google images of video game themed cakes,
and it changed my life because ever since then I've been cross stitching like crazy!

(Especially at that end bit when you're sewing furiously to make the birthday deadline. Maybe that's just me >_>')

LOL! I'm terrible with deadlines, it goes from a birthday gift, then rolls over into whichever holiday is coming next! Over and over through the holidays/special occasions until its finally done.
I had a gift that was meant for our anniversary in January, then Valentines Day, then his birthday, then XMAS, until finally it was done by Easter the next year!!

Carand88 was kind enough to fulfill a pattern request for me! So the next part of my stitch will be a little android robot!

Will start stitiching that today, as well as starting a large pikachu for my Newphew's 9th birthday
