Has anyone ever laminated a cross stitch? I wonder if it would work?

I've used self laminating sheets. It works better with perferated paper then cloth though.

Hmmm, okay. I've recently got a laminater, so I might just try it. I'd have to make something small to test it with though - as much as I hate to waste laminating pouches, I'd hate to ruin a good piece of stitching more!!

I've seen laminated cotton fabric - it's basically as the name says. Cotton sheets with a thin coating on one side (the print or pattern side) and it's used for all kinds of things.
I don't have a lot of laminating experience but I reckon it is at least plausible that a stitching could be laminated. I hope someone tests this out soon :D
