JokeOFaRomantiic's updates and projects

I figured since I'm going to be starting on more things lately (namely for my wedding) I should just start a thread for my updates and what nots.
And on to the updates!
Pokemon Gen 1 update. I really need to keep track of how long it takes me between updates. ._.
Disney Princess magnet set. Mulan mostly done (needed to get some more colours) and most of the outline of Meg. Opinion wanted - should I cut out around or make them square/rectangular with a background? I can't decide what would look better, since they're not all the same size. :/
But that's it for now!

Magnets looking good so far! I think that while they'd look nice cut out, they'd look really pretty in a rectangle shape with some kind of themed background. Not sure how you'd do that but eh, that's my opinion!

I agree with blackmageheart. A rectangle with a background behind it would look awesome!

If you could work cherry blossoms in the background of Mulan, that would look good.
Not sure if you're doing all of the princesses, but for Jasmine, you could do the pattern from the magic carpet. For Belle, you could do roses or rose petals. I don't have any other suggestions right now.

That was the kind of thing I meant by "themed"

If it proves to be too difficult, you could always use the colours from those themes to make patterns in the background? Like purple with pink for Mulan, etc etc

How about a suit of cards behind Alice and seashells behind Ariel? Things that kind of went along with the movie they were in would be cool.
