Monopoly!

Post by CraftySasha »

OK, this is a board game rather than a video game, but I felt the need to share this with you guys.

This project took me a couple years to complete (mainly because I would get bored with it and set it aside for a few months at a time). I've had it framed and put under glass so that whenever I want to play Monopoly now, all I have to do is take it off the wall!

I love it! Have never thought of doing board games before, brilliant idea.

I did the monopoly board some time ago. I think the easiet part was the places on the board. The center in the board with the word monopoly was harder and took a while. I have it hanging on my bedroom wall.

That's awesome, and as an avid Clue fan, it opens up so many more pattern ideas for me. I thank you for that, my wallet won't, but I do. lol

I freaking LOVE Clue as well, and I would absolutely love to have a cross stitch of the board hanging on my wall!

I don't think I have the patience to actually DO it myself, I might have to plead with my mom and have her do it, but I now WANT one.

I know when I bought the kit on ebay it was around $35.00 I think. The kit is from the 1980s so good luck. I think the pattern sells in the $5 to $10 range.
