WIP - Dr. Mario Tissue Box

Since I was fussed at by Krybak17, here are the WIP shots for my Dr. Mario tissue box that has been abandoned for months:

It's hard to see, but all the black stitches are filled in for the Mario faces. I just need to fill in his face with the skin color, fill in the pills, and stitch the Yellow virus.

For reference, here's the pattern I'm using. I don't know how I'm going to fill in the background for the side panels yet, but I'm considering a mosaic or satin stitch for the checkered top of the box.

I've got three weeks until my next semester starts. My to-do list currently includes a huge screen shot of Space Invaders [10" x 12" on 22ct], my charity square, and other little things to put in my Etsy shop. Hopefully I'll have a chance to pick this back up soon.

What is the size of the plastic canvas (or is this a stupid question b/c it doesn't have a size?)? This would be great to make for my desk when the snotty-nose-kid season hits at school!

7 mesh, if I'm not mistaken, with regular Red Heart Super Saver yarn.
