My First cross stitch (WIP - Pokemon Team)

I'm still quite a n00b around here, but I thought I would share my very first cross stitch work with those that inspired me to take up the needle and floss lol

It's not much, but I think it's awfully productive for a first time out.

I did however have to pick out most of those stitches ... some more than once lol, it's tricky but so fun! (I guess I'm preaching to the choir here though huh )
I work in a craft store, so those at work that I've told about my new hobby have been very supportive and helpful with tips and such, so that on top of everyone and everything this forum has to offer, I must say that this is likely to be my favorite craft. I'm addicted.

Looking good! Keep at it and you'll do fine! It is a very addictive hobby, especially when working in a craftstore yourself (I guess... It would be heaven for me)...

Thanks guys! I can't wait to get started up on this again tomorrow, it's been killing me not being able to do it when my partner's around lol (surprise for him and all)

It's actually Squirtle, but considering there isn't much stitched and they have similar shapes, it's totally understandable.

I thought it was a Squirtle. It's amazing how we can figure out these things with so little information.

So it turns out my counting was a wee bit off when I stitched the original 'outline' I posted a picture of above, so I spent a good chunk of my day off yesterday re-doing the entire thing... it sucked, but I got a lot done, and it's definitely looking like a Squirtle now.

WooHoo! I just finished the last stitch on the second of my six pokemon, I'm so psyched to start #3 tomorrow, mostly because it is my favorite pokemon (Quilava) and it just makes me all happy inside because it means that I'm that one step closer to finishing this in time for my anniversary lol

Another productive day today, I was able to bang out a few more hours of stitching and I'm just over half way done my third pokemon!
