Sprite Stitch Board!

Hi all,

I've been reading for a long time and decided to post one of my video game related projects, my Dr. Mario hand towel. I'll post some of my other recent projects in the non-video game thread.

That's awesome! I've been wanting to do some hand towels, I like small projects that I can finish quickly, and it would be nice to do something like that instead of just stitching random things on my mom's scraps of aida.

Great job! Where did you get the towel with built in aida?

I bought the towel at Michael's.

Unfortunately I don;t have a pattern. This was one of my first designs. I just made it in GIMP and then guessed at the colours. I also didn't even write down the colour numbers (which is now annoying me as they are in my floss box unlabeled).

If I can find the image I used I could run it through PC Stitch for you though. I'll check tonight when I get home.

I'm attaching the pattern as it went through PC Stitch. I used an off-white for his lab coat so it would stand out from the white towel more. I also think I used a paler, more flesh-toned colour for his skin and a darker brown on Mario as well. But these colours are probably truer to the actual sprite (I didn't have PC stitch when I made this).
