Final Fantasy small project

Post by RockstarGirl »

Hi everyone! I've recently started making my own cross-stitch charts from video game sprites. Nothing big yet, mostly just little stuff to pass the time, but I thought I'd share the first one I finished. It's the 6 classes from the original Final Fantasy on NES before the class change:

(somehow, I got an extra column of stitches in White Mage, but I managed to make it work.)

Right now I'm working on another small one of the powered-up Marios from Super Mario Bros. 3... I've got plans for the overworld map of World 1: Grass Land from SMB3, but I've got to buy the supplies first - and convince myself I can actually finish a project of that magnitude lol.

My mom is an awesome cross-stitcher, she does these big huge pictures with all kinds of detail, but I can't do that. I need small, simple stuff, so when I found a site that had video game sprites, I thought those would be awesome for me. I'm hoping I can do a few more small projects and convince myself that I can do Grass Land from Super Mario 3.
