Sprite Stitch Board!

So, does anyone remember those little ornaments in the shape of a man that had a pull string, and when you pulled it he did jumping-jacks? Well, I took that idea and made my own pattern featuring Epona (no Link!). I tried to match her colouring and her saddle as close to the in-game horse, but having not played any Zelda games for a while, I can only hope I did a good job. Hang her, and she'll stand beautifully, but pull the pullstring and she runs! Also, I apologize for my photography skills. They are seriously lacking.

awesome how long did it take you to complete?

It only took me about a week to complete, but I worked on it for a few hours a day.

I'm in the process of fixing up my pattern (right now, it's just scraps of paper with scribbled notes on it) but I'd be glad to post it when I'm done!

Hey, so I've figured out that I really suck at making this pattern. It has so much backstitching and french knots and tiny bits of colour, it just looks like one big blob of symbols that I can't imagine anyone can read. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to do this clearly?

Well, in my experience most patterns just are huge blobs of symbols. XD Maybe if you posted what it looks like right now people can give you suggestions? I don't really know what to say since I don't know what it looks like.
