Oooh Very good. It almost looks like you blended some kreinik pearl along with the 520 in the 2nd one.

thanks. these are among my earliest, but my first stitch was a smaller pattern of samus:

yes, it must only almost look like i used kreinik pearl. i didn't know what that it is until i googled it just now. it might be the aida fabric showing between stitches or the image quality causing that.

i'm not sure what the plural of samus is, but sami is a character from advance wars:

an advance wars pattern with the different characters and their armies seems like a cool idea, but that'll have to wait for now.

and here's one of my more recent metroid stitchings:

Wow these are absolutely fantastic. I love all the detail and colours that you left it the patterns. It makes the final project look all that much better in the end.

Keep up the amazing work, I look forward to seeing more from you!

nothing happening on a similar scale as the ones i've posted. right now i'm slowly making progress on some 16x16 icons on plastic canvas; they'll become keychains when i'm done with the stitching. so this thread will probably go quiet for a while.

over the last month or so, i've been slowly working on a small project. here are the keychains i had previously mentioned.
green on one side:

purple on the other:

so i can put them on a ring to indicate which weapon is currently selected. right now it's the super missile:

and if i get bored with the super missile, i can turn a few around so that the missile, power bomb, grappling hook, or x-ray scope can be what's selected
