Thanks The black threads are just guides I used when stitching the border. I left them there to save me re counting when I start to fill in detail on that side.

Looks great! I'd love to do a cross stitch VG map of some kind eventually. What are the dimensions of this?

I haven't done much since the last update, but I changed one of the colours for the sand on the advice of my partner. I think it looks much better and closer to the original. What do you guys think?
