Sprite Stitch Board!

I had a request from my neice to make a for her. looked around the game sprites and couldn't find any interesting enough. Found this icon here http://celiex3.deviantart.com/art/Free- ... n-92695616 on good old DA. Asked her permission to use it for my stitching, and she even said i could change the colours slightly if i needed. i'm using 18ct aida for the first time and i'm surprised with how much closer together the stitches come together when there are just 2 stitches more. If that makes sence? i played Pokemon Black all day yesterday and most of last night.... i'm heavily dosed up on Monster energy drink this afternoon. i'll post a WIP this evening when guests have gone and everything's calmed down just thought i'd start the thread now

My first update, sorry it's taken so long, had a really bad case of tonsilitis >.< anyways, did more last night than i have done for the past couple of days and now you can actually tell what it is instead of it being just a yellow blob XD I need to ask a question though; what do you guys think about the supposed 'dark yellow' according to KG, but to me it looks orange... The camera's brightened it a little actually. I haven't done much, just the underneath of the ear, because i wanted to get a second opinion. i'm hoping it'll all look okay in the end though got a lot to do on it, so i'll prob work on it some more tonight. but here ya go

Looking good! I don't think the "dark yellow" looks too bad, but I usually find that when I'm not sure about a colour, it generally looks fine once all the other surrounding colours are done...if not then it gets whipped out and re done, lol.

Sorry to hear about your tonsilitis, I can totally sympathise as I just had it alongside my flu! Hope you are feeling much better now

Okay, the yellow can stay for now i've checked every other yellow and none of them are darker than the main body (444 which is used for EVERY pikachu i've seen ) so i don't know which one to use. but i shall wait till more of it is done Thanks for the kind words ^_^ i'm feeling slightly better, i got medication yesterday so i should be okay soon

Just keep it up. I'm the same way with wesker doubting how the colours will look in end but you have to wait until it is all together to know for sure.

It looks great to me! I always second guess colors but it turns out in the end. Can't wait to see it done.

Thanks guys! ^_^ i did a LOT of progress on it last night, but then my computer stopped working as it is i'm using a libary computer... i have to wait till my other half can swap the hard-drives over to the old machine.... goodbye old computer, you have served me well...

Uh I hate when that happens. I definately feel for you. It makes me realize that I really should back up all my stuff onto the external hard-drive otherwise I will end up losing everything (and all my patterns).

Can't wait to see the update when you are able to post it!

FINISHED!! I still think the orange is too orange, but i gues i'll learn for next time trial and error and all that! anyways, let me know what you think ^_^
