So how did you make the pattern? KG Chart? And how did you pick the colours? (If you don't mind me asking!)
So I guess that yellow thread marking is to keep on you on track huh? Can you tell me more about it?

I hope I am not asking too many questions!
Anyway, keep it up!
edit: Ooh just thought of another question! How did you finish the edges of the aida from fraying? Is that a machine zig zag? Okay, okay I'll stop now! I promise!
1) Yes, I used KG chart and just used the colours that it gave me. Next time though I might try and match up the colours a little better. Go by the patch that it gives me.
2) Yes the yellow thread keeps me in line. I do them going across. 10 squares up and 10 squares down. When I'm done I can just pull them out. I find it's pretty good off of the get go. It takes a lot of time to set up but I make a lot less mistakes, especially if I have large areas of the same colour.
3) It's a pair of scissors that give it the zig zag. In theory if it frays it's only a small area that frays however I found that it hasn't worked so well. When I did my husbands fabric for him I used a sewing machine to make a hem in order to keep it from fraying. It seems to work a lot better.
UPDATE COMING SOON. PROMISE.
