Wow I've never seen a project like this before. I wasn't too sure if I liked it at first, but the background you did totally sealed the deal for me. It looks great!!

I'm not the biggest Pokemon fan, but I love this blackwork technique. It actually inspired me to go look up some information on blackwork for myself and I am in love with some of the patterns they have. Thank you for opening up a whole new world for me faewren!

I know, isn't it totally awesome! I'm a novice comparatively. Gatchastitch really deserves to go on Sprite Stitch's blog.

Wow this is awesome! I've heard of blackwork but I never knew exactly how it was done. Personally I love the digital background with it . It gives is an awesome filled look without cross stitching an entire background and doesn't detract from Pikachu. Great work and I can't wait to see Charmander too.

Sorry it's taken me so long. I've been really sick with whatever Kindergarten virus my daughter brought home. I'm still sick but now I am semi-functional.
Ta da! Charmander. This is slightly different than Squirtle or Pikachu - I focused on thread count this time, so there are some 1 thread stitches and 2 thread stitches. The black outline is all 2 threads.
Should I revamp Pikachu and Squirtle and put all three in the patterns section for easy access?
