Sprite Stitch Board!

I finally finished my first cross-stitch project, my own modification of the Portal "Best Friends Forever" companion cube design. I gave it to my husband for Valentines, and he loved it! I made the PDF pattern myself in excel (I was at work at the time!) based on the exact dimensions of the towel, so I've attached that as well. I think I like cross stitching. I used to do plastic canvas as a kid, and this was pretty easy to pick up because of that. Now I have to figure out my next project. Maybe something more challenging with more colors.

man i want portal so much!!! I love all these projects that are portal related but as I've never played it it feels weird to stitch something to do with it! Lovely towel btw

Thanks all! It's on our kitchen towel rack, I don't want to actually USE it to dry my hands off, though, 'cause it's too cute.

I might make another towel to match with another theme, not sure what to do yet though.

What kind of towel did you use? I'd love to embroider a hand towel, but I'm terrified of messing it up.
