Legend of Zelda Three Goddesses

Hi there!

I'm brand new to this forum (I've been following the blog for a while. I didn't even realize there was a forum!) and this is my first cross-stitch project ever. I'm pretty proud of it, and I may have to make one for myself (this was made for a Zelda-themed craft swap over on craftster).

I love the statues of the three goddesses, din, nayru, and farore, in the Wind Waker game, so that's what I used for inspiration. Turns out someone has already made sprites of these statues, so I used those: http://hikolol35.deviantart.com/art/Din ... 88082&qo=9

Here's the whole thing:

And here is each goddess individually.

Thanks for looking! :) (and sorry the pics are a little big)

Oh, awesome!
I've had something of an obsession with the Golden Goddesses recently, so it's lovely to see them stitched. And I do love the sprites you've done here, very nice. I also really like that swirly material they're on, it's so Wind Waker. ^^

Also, welcome to Sprite Stitch! ^^

Hey thanks!

And yes: I saw that fabric at the store and almost squee-ed out loud. It's SO perfect for anything wind waker-related.

Those sprites are adorable. I've never played the game myself, but it still looks great! ^^

They're so cute! :D The stitching is so fine, too, it's easy to tell how skilled you are when you photograph them at such a high resolution! ;) I'd love to do something similar in the future. Are you considering doing a background to the stitching if you do one for yourself, or are you just going to leave it as-is?
