Pandora's Stitchings

Since I joined this board a while back and I'm much enjoying all the wonderfull projects.
And since I cross stitch myself I figured I should show a few of my own pieces.
So I hope you all won't mind if I do just that. ^^

This one one of the first pieces I did.
A simple pair of playstation sprites of my favourite heroes.
I still need to find a nice frame or another way to display them.

I also spiffied up a little handbag with a cross stitched Knuckles the Echidna.
I sewed a piece of 28 stitch cloth to the bag for guidance and took out/cut off the remainder of the cloth when I was done.
Unfortunatly, the bag has started to fall appart after too much use, and I can no longer really use it.

And here's a close up of the stiching on the bag.

This little Knuckles was stiched up mostly just because I loved the sprite.
I'm not at all sure what I want to do with him yet. (I really need to learn to plan these things beforehand.)
This little project did teach me not to use 2 threads on 28 stitch fabric.
It's a bit warped because the 2 threads were just a bit too much and getting the last few stitches in was murder.
I managed to stab myself with the needle because of it. >>

I also can't help but show off this tiny project even if it's not remotely special.
It's my first ever sprite stitch, on a piece of scrap canvas, when I was testing if this whole sprite to cross stitch idea worked.

And the last shot is a work in progress.
I started it a few weeks back, but haven't been able to work it much untill now because of college work.
An image of one of my favourite robot masters, Centaurman.
I've managed to finish his outline. I must admitt I think it looks pretty cool.
I'm temped to leave it like this and just stitch, "Who's that Robotmaster", below it.

I'd almost forget to say thank you for the welcome riotpatch.
But anyways, Thank you! :)

I'm rather fond of Knuckles so I love stitching him. He's got such cute sprites too.

Thank you both. :)
Stitching on the bag was a lot of fun. I had a piece of scrap cloth sewed to it and kept all the supplies in one of the bags pockets.
So I already had the bag in normal use and just pulled out my needle and threads whenever I had a chance to work on it.

I really love the Knuckles sprite that you stitched onto your bag. I was wondering what Sonic game it was from, I can't find the sprite anywhere! Amazing work, and I can't wait to see what else you stitch up. :good:

Thank you very much for the nice comments. ^^
And the sprite is from a somewhat unknown game called Knuckles Chaotix.

I'd give you the pattern for it, but I made it in pencil by hand on a piece of graph paper and hand picked the colors from leftover threads of which I don't know the brand or color number.
Sprite sheet can be found right here though. :)

Ooh, I knew it looked familiar! I loved Chaotix, one of the only decent games available for the 32X. (I always loved Espio and Charmy Bee!)

It looks so sweet on the bag, nice work! ^^
