I made these for my friends and family for Christmas. Some of them really liked them, but others didn't really seem to care.

I was originally going to use a grey scale for Princess Daisy because her sprite is from Super Mario Land for the Game Boy. The stitches are so large though, and so much white shows through, I was afraid you wouldn't be able to see the difference in color and she would just come out as a big gray blob. So I used her modern color scheme instead.

Please let me know what you think of them.

aw they are so cute, I'm sure your friends liked them, sometimes people don't know how to react when someone gives hem something handmade.

Thank you both so much. :) I don't think that any of friends hated or even disliked them really. I got more of a "this is it" reaction from most, but like I said some of them really liked them. I think they were just expecting more of a, I spent money on this, and less of a, I spent time to make this, kind of gift. And to answer your question sfxbecks, yes, they were all done on a heavy card stock.

that is a reaction you will get from any person who isn't 'crafty' . they don't understand the time, care and attention that goes into a piece that is made especially for them as much as someone who is more crafty.
