Stitchin' by RAWRmonster!

Post by RAWRmonster »

Oh, hai!

I'm a total newblet, but I made this!

And this!

And also this!

Image

I also don't own a camera, so I rely on my crappy camera phone.

I'm currently in the process of filling in a background for that last piece. I'm terrified of using Aida, mainly because I'm terrified of using a hoop, so I only stitch on plastic canvas for now, mostly 14 count. I'm also working on a Dr. Mario tissue box cover with 7-count and yarn. It's going to be schweet.
Current Project(s): How much time do you have? LOL

I know how that one goes...my sister has a very good camera but it's a battery-eater so I usually can't rely on getting access to it. My phone however, is always around lol :D

No need! Aida's great and quite robust. And you don't *have* to use a hoop, many people don't and it's fine. I usually don't use one, but sometimes I dig one out depending on the project I'm doing :D

I look forward to seeing your tissue box and more of your work ^^

welcome!

your phone pics are perfectly fine, better than some people with a real camera!

and, about the hoops I don't always use them either. If the project is big enough to hold well I usually just hold it while I stitch. for smaller projects I do like the hoop though because its easier to hold on to then something small like a bookmark.

I made this too. It's not a sprite, but it's nerdy, and I love it. :nod

Good work. Still good shot anyway. I really dislike using the loops. I use the scrolls.

Thanks you guys. :pika

I'm working on a gift right now. It's not video game related, but it's tech related, and I stitch in between classes or when work is really slow. I'll probably post it in the Non-game related forum when it's all done. After that...Dark Toon Link!!
