Sprite Stitch Board!

I decided to cross stitch potholders for Christmas. The Portal one is complete. The second one is a WIP-- it will be a Darth Vader holding a cookie, saying "Come to the Dark Side. We have cookies!"

This is pretty cool, can't wait to see the Darth Vader one finished!

Finished the Star Wars one! Had to make a lot of color changes from the original b/c I was out of the floss. Hope you enjoy!

Was it tough to stitch on the potholder? It seems like it might be kind of difficult because you can't really access the back, especially when starting/finishing strands. Any tips?

It was tough to stitch on for the exact reason you said! Since I am right-handed, I turned the opening to the right and accessed it that way. However, that meant I had to stitch the patterns sideways, i.e. the bottom was to my left and the top to my right. I bought the potholders at a craft store, I think they were Charles Craft brand.

I plan on doing matching dish towels. I'll post those when I am finished!
