This has been a long time in the making, but it's finally done. I never did get very far in this game as a kid, but I do vividly recall this scene and thought it'd be a fun one to recreate. Hope you guys like it. I've definitely enjoyed seeing everyone else's projects in this forum.

It looks great and I think it is fair to say anyone that has played Zelda has fond memories of the fairies

It looks good. I played the nes zelda game but I didn't finish it. I have the book called Tips and Tricks that helps with the game. My boyfriend likes the zelda games. I did a few cross stitches of zelda. Do you mind sharing the pattern for this?

Wow that looks great!
And that is a very memorable part of the game indeed.

It took me a little under a year to finish, but I worked on it pretty inconsistently. --And yes, the rocks were definitely tedious!
As for the pattern, unfortunately, I'm working off a trial version of "Stitches" (I'm a Mac user), and since it's a trial version, I'm unable to save the pattern in a shareable format. (I can only open the file in the program, and I actually worked off my laptop screen when I made this.)
Thanks to everyone for the kind words. I'm already thinking about what game/scene to do next.

I must take my hat off to you
Zelda is one of my all time favorite games. My boyfriend and I only recently beat it so I can relate with everyone else who didn't play it all the way through.
Your work is absolutely beautiful though

How big is the picture?

This is super cute.
I've always loved this scene, too.
Great work!

amynumba2: Thanks! The stitched section is (roughly) 14" x 12.5". It's in a 16" x 20" frame.
