Sprite Stitch Board!

Megaman X is my favorite Megaman game (I know I know... MM2 is a very close second, no worries), and after seeing what YeahYeahYouWere did with the MM2 bosses, I decided to tackle the Mavericks. I want to eventually do all of them from MMX-X6, but that's a long way off, so I'm starting with the easy ones. Had a hard time deciding what pose I wanted each of them in, but I settled on these, for the most part it's just a frame from their animation when they enter the boss chamber, but I felt these ones worked the best.

I'll try and update every couple of days to show my progress, I should be able to finish at least one a week. I may have to tweak Storm Eagle though, PCStitch and KGChart both spat out fairly odd color choices, so I'm just going to eyeball it when I get to doing him.

Looking good! The half stitches look very nice and full.

Do you have a plan for the finished product?

I was trying to find a frame that had 8 spots in it that were big enough, but with Launch and Chameleon being so wide, I couldn't find anything. So I'll probably do some sort of background stitch amd frame them individually.

Launch Octopus is finished. I'm going to finish the other 7, then do all the backgrounds at once. Next up: Flame Mammoth

Looks great! What style background are you planning on using?

Probably just a scottish stitch or something. Or I may get crazy and do a background from their rooms in the game. Haven't quite decided yet, which is why I'm saving it for last. Gonna see how they all look and see if it's worth the trouble to do the rooms.
