Now I remember why I rarely post here anymore.
Seems like, if you're not a well-known regular to this board, one has to stitch up an entire afghan or map before anyone takes any notice or even bothers to comment.

I would say that what's probably more likely the problem is that you just posted your picture with the heading Tetris and didn't elaborate, what was the thought process behind it why did you start the project?
I see that it looks the same no matter which way you rotate it through 90* was there a reason for that, it kind of bugs me a little bit as the white highlights in the corners to me should all be in the same corners as it's supposed to (in my interpretation) be reflecting a light source.
The blank parts, are they going to be filled or is this the complete work?
I would likely have filled the blank areas with black and maybe gone a couple of blocks out on either side so as to define a border.

Would you walk into a room, put your work down infront of your friends/family and wait for them to say something or, more likely, say "hey guys, what do you think of this?", just try engaging with people properly before flouncing all over the place.

I rarely post myself as I'm often quite busy working or spending time with my family (or playing Undead Nightmare atm), I like a lot of pieces on this site and I sometimes feel a bit guilty that I don't post more often as I like it when people comment on my works.

If you'd have bothered to type even a short message along with your picture you likely would have had at least a couple of comments and would have saved yourself a lot of apparent heartache.

Very neat work!
:D

More than anything, I just don't think there's a ton of people that check the forums on a daily basis. I know a lot of other forums I am on, it seems like there's always tons of people on at a given time. But for this one, it seems like it's not quite so crowded all the time. I mean, practically half the first page hasn't had any comment in over a week. I am a compulsive forum-checker but I think a lot of people probably are not!

I also would agree with Cakester in that there is no context for the project - did you make it for a friend, or are you going to frame it, or what. I know I am sure people think I am wordy as heck when I post, but I try to explain not just what I did but why I did it.

Most of all, don't get discouraged if nobody comments right away - just because there's not a comment doesn't mean people are not seeing and appreciating the work!
Current Projects: Legend of Zelda Magnet Set, Mario Kart coasters (50% done - Mario and Peach finished, Yoshi and Luigi or Toad pending)
Finished Projects: Assorted Coasters, Mega Man 2 Robot Master Magnets, Angry Birds Magnets

I agree, I wanted to say something about it but I had no idea if it was even finished. I do really like the colors of floss you choose against the color of aida you picked. I guess you got more insulted by us waiting to comment then us waiting for you to say what it is then commenting.

I'm usually stitching or spending time with my daughter so I don't get the chance to post pictures of my things as often as I'd like, and when I do I'm not exactly drowning in comments - I would say that most regulars here know me, but I suspect I'm better known for patterns than my stitchings! But I don't feel like I need a million comments, as long as I know some people have a look it's ok. So don't get disheartened!! :D

On to your stitching - I really like the green and blue colours, they pop against the background. What do you plan to do with it when it's finished? :)
