Canabalt!

I made this after being addicted to the iphone app. It's a composite of a few images I found online and took myself.
Its 15x8 inches, and only took me 1.5 months to do. Also, it has a lot of grey. And it was boring. And grey...
It's yet to be washed and ironed, but I was too lazy to do that tonight, so you'll have to put up

What does everyone think? Also, hows the design?

This totally reminds me of some of the old Apple II and Commodore games, like Impossible Mission.
I think you did a great job with the greyscale. I've tried making a chart or two of black-and-white screenshots, but sometimes the programs chooses odd, non-grey colors in the palette. Actually... did you experience that as well? Because if your program gave you those suggestions too (like light lavender or very dark navy blue) and you actually used them here, I might go along with them as well since this looks pretty good.

Actually I had to pick them myself, although the lighter colour is a light lavender. So I would suggest using them, and seeing how it turns out...

This looks great, even if it isn't exactly colorful! I never got that into Canabalt (Angry Birds is another story) but I know people love it, and this is a very cool project!

Thanks a lot for letting me know -- especially about the light lavender! Now I'm a lot less skeptical about giving those colors a try.
