I don't play Tetris myself so I don't know how many shapes and colors there are. Does some shapes comes in a certain color or does the shapes appear in all colors. Tried to find a good site with pictures but failed.

I found my glue gun for $2.50 at Walmart.

I just used the colors I had on hand. There are so many different color variations that I just did whatever.

As far as the edges? I'm not sure what you mean, but I'll go ahead and outline the process. Basically I back stitched the outline in black on a small-ish square of canvas. Then I filled in the color. Then what I did was cut very close to the edge of the stitching (but not so close that it would unravel). Then I glued the pieces to a sheet of felt and cut the felt out to shape. Then I glued some magnets on.

Hope that helps!

I finally got around to making some! I'm missing a shape because I stuffed up when I was cutting, made it a row too short, so I need more practice in counting, apparently :)

I loved using the plastic canvas -- turns out it was perforated plastic in the end. Thanks for the tips!

How did you do your edges? They look different from how I do mine. When I finish I always have an edge of plastic that sticks out, uncovered :( I've tried to sew them up, but it has never looked as nice as yours.

I used three strands of black floss to sew through and around each hole twice, and three times through each corner -- does that make sense? :) Also, I trimmed the corners a touch, I snipped off their sharp edges so they wouldn't poke out so much.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tetris#Col ... etrominoes Lists the official colors for the different tetrominoes.

I'm a bit of a tetris nerd.

Just waiting on fabric to arrive so I can make tetris gift for my mom.
