I actually didnt use a proper pattern, or I'd be more than happy to share it. I just imported the original picture into KG-Chart and used that to mark out where all the main shapes were, and beyond that I just sketched the rest out right onto the aida, and picked the colours that I thought would look best as i went.
Oh wow... That's incredible!

The Super Mario Brothers 3 world map looks amazing, it brings back a lot of memories of me and my brother fighting over who gets to play. :) Are you going to attempt any of the other maps from Super Mario Brothers 3? I think the Act 2 map in the Desert would look good stitched.
Some like to spend hours shopping or watching soaps. I love to spend hours Stitching!!!

How big is 200x300 stitches in inches? i'm useless at working stuff out like this...
Current Projects:
Link and Triforce Square = 56% complete.
Kanto Map = 60% complete.
Hetalia sprites for Xmas presents. Other projects will be put on hold until these are done. Shouldn't take long though. :3

It all depends on the fabric count used. 14 count has 14 stitches in an inch, 18 count has 18 stitches in an inch, etc. So, if this were on 18 count fabric, divide 200 and 300 by 18 to get around 11" x 16.5"

OH MY GOSH THAT'S HUGE!
Current Project(s): How much time do you have? LOL

Cheers! :D i knew about the whole count per inch, i'm just useless at the math for the next part! (and by the looks of it, can't use my own brain to figure it out) lol. thanks, that should help me decipher the size of some of the MANY patterns i've made! :yahoo:

Wow! The colours in the window are so vibrant! I love it!

And I don't know why, but the Mario maps really do something for me. :D Great job on that as well!
