Hello! I've posted here before and put my projects in threads by the name of the project. If you guys don't mind, from now on I'll just use this as my little gallery page and post each new thing I do in here. It's much easier for me to keep up with this way.
Without further ado, here is my work (you can click on the thumbnail for a full sized image):

The new pieces Sprite Stitch hasn't seen before are the Doki Doki Penguin sprite & Aeigas. I made the penguins for my boyfriend when we went on a trip to Sea World (he has an unhealthy obsession with penguins). It is now in a collage frame which I've added a picture of. Aeigas is my favorite character from Persona 3 (Credit for the sprite: Paul Robertson).
For Aeigas, I used 3 colors of gold metallic thread for her headband, and I used red satin thread for her bow and headphones.
I may add a red background later, we shall see. Expect more from his Persona 3 series.

the penguins are so cute, and that sprite is gorgeous! Really nice pattern and stitching job. Any reason in particular you put it on plastic? (I'm mostly just fishing for ideas to use up some plastic someone gave me!)

Thank you so much!!
I did it on plastic because I LOVE the plastic canvas. For me, it is much easier than having to use a hoop or a scroll because I can just hold it (Note: BE CAREFUL if you do this because you'll end up with a "wavy" end product if you're not). I'm really, really awkward, so using hoops and scrolls is strange for me.
If you use plastic, PLEASE use clear. Using white is just not safe because you can see the plastic through the stitches sometimes.

Thank you!!! No need to covet - you'll have one when we do our swap one day!

I actually do have clear, I wouldn't use any other colour! I'm far too pedantic about things like seeing canvas when you shouldn't
And I completely understand why you find adia awkward, with big pieces I can never get it comfortable!

I have had better luck with plastic canvas as well, for my latest project I have been using 6 threads and half stitches on plastic and it's working well for me.
Your stitches all look so consistent and full - do you use 3 threads for cross-stitch on the plastic? I have found myself incapable of enough consistency to satisfy my perfectionism when using cloth, so I am inclined to use plastic full time, but I am not quite sure what thread count to use. Yours look so good, I figure if I just copy what you're doing it might work for me!

Thank you! That's sweet!
When I first started using plastic canvas, I tried using 3 threads, but I ended up having to tug and pull on the needle so hard that the canvas got warped (basically it looked like ~~~~~~~ from the side). So I decided to use 2 thread, and that works great for me (I use ONE thread of metallic and ONE thread of silk because they are a bit thicker). You will notice with two threads that when you hold it up, you can see specks of color & light (from whatever is behind the stitch e.g. the wall, t.v., etc.) through the holes you've already stitched through, BUT this goes away whenever it is placed directly on any color background. So as long as you don't plan on suspending your stitches from the middle of the ceiling, 2 threads is your best option. (You can look at my Duck Hunt piece witch was taken against an orange background & notice that this is true, and you really can't see the holes anymore). Does that make sense? I feel like I'm talking jibberish.
