To everyone one who either is, or is planning on making all 493 or however many there are nowadays...what do you plan to do with all of the Pokemon after you finish?

I am considering starting a project like this, but I'm trying to decide what to do with them afterward

We have different goals of pokemon projects. Some go for original pokemon cluster. Some go for legendary cluster. Some go for all pokemon.

For going all pokemon will take few years to complete. So far, 2 people are going for all 493.

However, I will expand to about 650 pokemon (5th gen is going to be out this week in Japan). I will not start on any 5th gen pokemon until next year.

You can always take on either of the Epic Pokemon Patterns. viewtopic.php?f=7&t=403 viewtopic.php?f=7&t=2230 Several people are doing that, and it can just be framed and hung when finished.

I'm planning on making them when i have a house so i can frame them all and hang them on a huge wall in my desk room or play room for my future kids, something like that

You misunderstood my question; I've seen all the different patterns (I'm not refering to the "epic" or group patterns) and I know there are people doing all 493 (soon to be more)...my question was for the people doing all of the Pokemon individually, or for those considering the undertaking, how would you plan on displaying them? All seperate frames, a Pokemon wall, turning them into a quilt (or 2 or 3)?

That would look AWESOME, just a giant pokemon mural wall. I was considering starting them, and I was thinking wall/ceiling border...then the more I thought about it, I realized how big of a room you'd have to have to do that

It's going to cost a small fortune to frame them.

I'm totally making mine into quilts for my hubby. Problem is, my friend keeps begging me to make her one too (the original epic pattern), but doesn't seem to understand that the concept is 1) very expensive, especially since she wants it done for free 2) going to take way too long, so I won't do it twice, and 3) NOT going to happen

No, I am not misunderstanding your question. Read my first sentance. We have different goals.

@dragonfoxmem - Krybak17's asking what you will do with the Pokemon stitchings when they are finished. She wants to know if you will frame them, or do something else with them, or just leave them as they are.

@Krybak17 - I think you're right about the cost of framing, but if a person could get many many many small frames cheap it'd probably be amazing. Although I'm not doing the 493+, I am doing the EPP and I plan on either having it framed professionally or making it into a wall hanging (I have some rods and things that'd be perfect for it.)

For the individual pokemon (ie non-clustered ones!) I think they'd look great on a wall lined up in number order, or grouped in types - framed or unframed, either's good! ^^

Ooooh...a wall hanging is a neat idea! I hadn't thought of that. You mean like scroll/tapestry style?
Hmmm...groups of pokemon would probably look good like that too, on long narrow wall hangings.
...hmmm...maybe I could do a long wall hanging of 1st gen fire Pokemon, and a long wall hanging of 2nd gen fire Pokemon, and hang them on either side of my fireplace...
