So I've been doing a lot of little projects for friends and family and I've decided it is time to do something big for myself. My boyfriend and I dug out some old Spyro games for the PS2 and they've inspired me to stitch the little purple dragon. Thanks to silly-kitten71 for helping me with the pattern!
Here's what I've got started. Just the horn, but it's something to keep me busy for a while!

For a sec I thought it was a combination of Spy and Pyro. Some TF2 players call a Spy disguised as a Pyro "Spyro"

I play too much TF2.

I haven't had much time to work on this project this week. I'm sure it'll be a slow moving one for me. But here's what I've got so far. I'm still working on the shading of his eyes. And I'm still looking for 2 colors that my local craft store has been out of for over a week now.

Looking really good so far.
My boyfriend's been telling me that I'm the only person on the planet that likes the Spyro games so it's good to know I'm not alone anymore.
Also, I have that trouble a lot at the craft store in my hometown. I recently moved to a bigger city though and have not since been in a craft store in this area. Have you tried comparing to another color? I just try to find a similar color and switch them out. Or you might be able to order them online, but they usually get you with unreasonable shipping.

I too, love the Spyro games! I'm not regretting making this pattern a little bit, as I already have SOOOOOO much on my to-do list and after seeing just the work in progress, I can't NOT do this one
